Baby Son for Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling made headlines last year not only for her marriage to actor Dean McDermott and their subsequent pregnancy, but also for her highly publicized feud with her mother, Candy Spelling, following the death of her late father, the prolific TV producer Aaron Spelling. Now, all those headlines are being met with happy endings in 2007, as Tori Spelling has given birth to her first child, a baby son named Liam.
Liam Aaron McDermott, the first child for Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, tipped the scales at six pounds, six ounces, according to the couple's rep, Meghan Prophet. Prophet was quoted by M&C as saying, "They're all really happy and everybody's resting now. Tori and the baby are healthy." While this is the first child for the couple, Dean McDermott has an 8-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace.
The baby's middle name was an honor and a tribute to her father, Aaron Spelling, who passed away last June.
While the death of Aaron Spelling caused a rift between Tori Spelling and her mother Candy, it seems that the birth of Liam Aaron Spelling may help seal that rift. Candy Spelling told People magazine that, "Words can't describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event." The brand new grandmother went on to say that, ""I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it."
Even before his birth, Liam Aaron Spelling was already the motivator behind Tori and Candy's reunification. Candy Spelling had told People magazine earlier in the week that she and Tori, "have been in touch with each other and are in the process of communicating and working things out." That sentiment was confirmed by Tori's brother, Randy Spelling, who said to the publication, "My sister and my mom have been communicating for the past few weeks. They are going to be there for each other and [Tori's soon-to-arrive] baby. My mom is having a grandchild, and it puts things into perspective."
The feuding began back when Tori Spelling was working on her faux-reality series, So NoTORIous, in which she created a decidedly negative mother figure. With Candy Spelling enraged over the negative depiction, things heated up to a fever pitch after the death of Aaron Spelling, when Tori learned she would only inherit $800,000 of her father's incredibly vast fortune. Tori pointed the finger at her mother for keeping her out of the will, and the feud was in full-swing. However, in October of last year, after the announcement came that Tori Spelling was pregnant, Candy began to sweeten, telling People that she was "thrilled and ecstatic" over the news.
With Liam Aaron Spelling in good health, and with Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott in good spirits, the timing couldn't be any better. Spelling and McDermott, who have been filmed for an upcoming reality TV series entitled Tori & Dean: Inn Love, will now be able to watch their new series with their baby, when it debuts on the Oxygen Network next week. The reality TV series focuses on the decision by Spelling and McDermott to renovate and run a bed and breakfast named Chateau La Rue. The B&B opened earlier this month in Temecula, California.

Hathaway lets Gyllenhaal have Sex for Real
|
|
|
Anne Hathaway let BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN co-star Jake Gyllenhaal fondle her boobs for real on the set of the Oscar-winning movie, to make the scene as realistic as possible.
But the actress has hinted she had to tell the actor off for trying to make their kissing scenes "a little too realistic".
Hathaway - who played Gyllenhaal's onscreen wife in the gay cowboy drama - tells British radio station Heart FM, "There was this scene in Brokeback Mountain where I get my kit off and I'm in the car with Jake Gyllenhaal and he's touched my shoulder and he's touched my stomach and he's touched around my back everywhere except for, you know, 'the girls'.
"So the director yells cut and we go behind a screen and I'm putting my clothes back on and Jake comes up to me and says, 'Annie, the thing is, the scene, in real life I would, so can I?'
"I just turned to him and said, 'It's okay Jake, yes, you can touch my boobs.'"
But Hathaway suggests Gyllenhaal became a little too amorous when it came to kissing: "Sometimes you work with actors, and they can be lovely guys, but they have kind of dodgy instincts when it comes to kissing in scenes.
"They want to try to make it look a bit too real if you know what I mean."
